Making an Escrow Deposit for a Jet or Turboprop

To Finalize Your Offer, you must have a Security or good faith Deposit on account with an Escrow Agent.

Please note: This transaction is made by you directly to the Aircraft Escrow Agent. AltaJet is NOT a party to this transaction, nor do we receive compensation or 'finder's fees'.

Funds transmitted to an Escrow Agent or Trustee must be accompanied by a Letter of Explanation

that sets forth the conditions under which the funds are being held. The Agent or Trustee will notify whomever you designate (your 'originating bank', for instance) to transmit the funds once they have received your letter. They will also send a copy of your letter with a Confirmation of Receipt of Funds Notice to AltaJet. You may send your Explanatory Letter by post, fax, or email.

AltaJet encourages you to speak with an Escrow Agent to learn their specific Terms and Conditions. But, generally speaking, these terms apply to most Aircraft Escrow accounts originating and/or finalizing in the United States:

Funds must originate from an account bearing the Name of the Aircraft Purchaser, or the aircraft purchaser's Lender.
Funds that originate from any other account may be refused and returned.
The Escrow Trustee is under no duty nor obligation to invest or reinvest any funds at any time.
The Escrow Trustee may commingle funds with other deposits in the trust account in the manner provided for in the administration of funds under the Escrow Trustee's Trust Agreement with the Trustee's Bank.
The Originator of the funds is identified on all deposit confirmation notices.

The Amount of the Deposit will vary depending on the Type of Aircraft you make an offer for.
